Steve Grochol began working in finance as an insurance agent, first with Allstate and then with New York Life, before becoming a wealth advisor. His career shift enabled him to do what he does best: Instead of selling products, he works closely with clients to craft financial plans and put them into action over decades-long relationships. He specializes in working with business owners; helping them make the transition from their working years into fulfilling retirements is one of his favorite parts of the job. He volunteers at St. Gregory School and Samaritan House, both in San Mateo, and spends a lot of time attending his kids' sporting events and performances. He also enjoys bowling, softball, golf, and bocce.
